Mark, I hear what you are saying about being nervous in front of crowds. It is difficult to talk to a large, anonymous audience. I think you have a wealth of information to share. I do think with a little coaching you could become great at delivering that information to your audience in an effective way.

There are a lot of companies that specialize in helping executives speak in public. My friend Mary Clark is one such coach, and the I think the company she works for, Eagle's Flight of America, has a good reputation in that regard.

More information about Eagle Flight here:

Oof. I'm glad you didn't hear me speak a couple years ago! It's not something I like to hear, but we're in agreement that I have a lot of room for improvement. I'm not an extroverted person, and have only become comfortable (i.e. not nervous) doing public speaking. Now that hurdle is out of the way, my next goal is to work on my presentation style. That anecdote thing is really bad. Do you have any resources you'd recommend on the topic of public speaking and presenting?

Regarding the content, I guess I should be glad it wasn't news to you --- that means you're doing it right! I had many people tell me afterwards they learned a lot, and I hate to see talented people undervaluing their work and getting lost in a crowd of generic "WordPress" consultants. What kind of information would be helpful to you, an experienced and successful consultant?
